Open day at EWM AG

EWM AG is Germany’s largest and one of the most important worldwide manufacturers and technology drivers behind arc welding technology.

The family-run company from Mündersbach has been living its motto, “We are welding”, with a great deal of passion for over 60 years, providing forward-looking and sustainable complete solutions for both industrial clients and smaller skilled craft businesses.

EWM develops high-end welding technology. The company offers complete systems that cover everything from high-quality welding machines (and all associated components), through welding torches, to welding consumables and accessories for manual and automated applications.

At the EWM open day on Saturday 7 September from 11:00 until 17:00 you can see first-hand how cutting-edge technology is produced here in Mündersbach.

Factory Tours

At EWM, high-tech products are produced in high-tech workspaces. Take part in a factory tour and see for yourself how we produce top-class welding technology.

Try your hand at welding

EWM machines make welding easy. You can try them out for yourself with expert instruction at one of our welding stalls. Choose either the MAG or TIG welding procedure.

Hoepner twins live

The dynamic duo Hoepner & Hoepner will make an appearance with their fantasy vehicle Urmel, which they made using an EWM welding machine. The brothers plan to travel across Alaska in Urmel in late 2019.

  • For kids and young people:

    Bouncy castles will ensure plenty of fun for the little ones
    while teenagers can talk to our trainees about careers at EWM,
    who will provide information about our training programmes and projects.

  • Careers:

    At the EWM HR stand you can find out about exciting job vacancies,
    career opportunities and vocational training offers in Mündersbach,
    across Germany and worldwide.

  • Food, drink and more:

    To complete the experience, there will be various food stands to choose from.
    Coffee and cake will also be available.
    The event will be supported by various local clubs and associations.
